And happy customers lead to increased revenue. So how do you keep your fellow employees happy? Since everyone now works on the go – using their own apps and devices – one approach is to ask how you can best enable them to keep doing that. Instead of focusing on meeting SLAs and implementing ITIL processes, focus has shifted towards increasing employee satisfaction. But really, hasn’t it always been the focus? Perhaps we got over-involved in our processes and let them get in the way of the results that matter? It’s time we moved on.
